I love this post on crunchgear blog - Skype introduced a client that installs on any cell phone - so with an unlimited data line from your cellular provider you can use Skype from your mobile. This is potentially going to open up new markets for cellular providers to change the way they market their services - people will potentially stop using the cellular minutes and choose to go with data plans only.

Mattress recycling in northern virginia

How does one recycle mattresses in Northern Virginia? My recent attempt to cut my carbon footprint went sour when I went to the Closet and they couldn't take our mattress due to "health concerns". They recommended trying Salvation (too far away in Manassas) or trashing it in the dumpster. Reluctantly we ended up throwing the mattress in the trash.

There's a nice post here written by one of the author's of the tapestry java framework about how with css you can create html tables that will let you adjust the browser size and still not wrap sentences within columns. This is used extensively by gmail.
